👻 Haunted House in the Dark – Super Night Mode on the DJI Action 5 Pro
This was no dim hallway — it was super dark. We're talking “can’t-see-your-hand” dark. And yet, the DJI Action 5 Pro didn’t just survive the haunted house at the Red River Ex… it thrived in it.
Armed with Super Night Mode, we walked through the haunted house tucked inside the Children’s Centre — no lights, no prep, just a spontaneous test of what this little camera could really do in the worst lighting imaginable.
And it crushed it.
Despite flashing strobes, pitch-black corners, and zero control over lighting, the Action 5 Pro delivered clean, stable footage with impressive shadow detail and dynamic range. No gimbal, no lights, just handheld confidence.
This wasn’t just low light. This was “why are we even filming this” dark — and somehow, the footage came out smooth, sharp, and completely usable. It handled sudden jumps in brightness, weird flickers, and motion without falling apart. Super Night Mode is the real deal.
If you're filming haunted attractions, indoor events, or anything remotely spooky or dim, this is the kind of performance that separates average action cams from serious creator tools.
