The Sony RX10 IV is still a very capable camera, especially if you can find one at a good price.

But if I were buying today, I'd go with the Sony RX10 V.

You get the same enormous 24–600mm range with much newer autofocus, faster shooting, better video and improved battery life.

For someone who wants one camera instead of a bag full of lenses, the RX10 V could be one of the most interesting all-in-one cameras of 2026.
